From December 18th to 22nd, Liu Jun, the secretary of the party committee, led a delegation to the Greek universities for exchanges and visits. Heads of the Graduate School, the School of Basic Medical Sciences, the School of Public Health, and the School of Foreign Languages accompanied the visit. Liu Jun and his delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Greece, the Department of Greek Education and Religious Affairs, Harokopio University of Athens,Greece, the University of Athens , and the University of Peloponnese, and conducted a cooperation negotiation with the embassy, school representatives and staff in the concerned area. He briefly introduced the development history of the school, how the school operates, international cooperation, and the main purpose of this visit to Greece. He said that, hopefully, under the framework of the national China-Greek Civilization Mutual Learning Center, the China -Greece Medical Cooperation Alliance (Shandong) is to be established to better promote exchanges and cooperation between medical universities in Shandong Province and Greek universities. Lai Bo strongly agreed with the significance of the establishment of the China -Greece Medical Cooperation Alliance to promote the exchange and cooperation of China and Greece in medical education, and said that active support would be given.
